Dip in road surface where fire hydrant removed.

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:28, Sun 19 March 2023

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4331827.

When a fire hydrant was removed around a couple of years ago outside my property at 32 Tamworth Road, Ashby it was not filled in properly and left a dip in the road surface. Rainwater really pools up and splashes the front of my property such as the front door and front window and also splashes people approaching or passing my property and this dip in the road surface. Since it was filled in after the fire hydrant removal the dip has increased, seemingly due to not being filled in and compacted properly when the work was carried out.
