Deteriorating pothole on previous repair patch....

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4330117.

....on nearside of east bound carriageway between Old Hill junction and mini roundabout.

  • For information, the order for this repair remains outstanding within our contractor's planned schedule of work. Further arrangements are currently being undertaken to provide traffic management and/or the necessary specialist equipment in order to undertake the works.

  • I drove down it yesterday and have luckily not damaged my tyres, sure I’m not the only one either, what happens about those who have damaged tyres or wheels?

  • Any request for compensation relating to an issue on a Bromley maintained highway must be processed via an insurance claim process. Bromley currently have a shared Insurance Service with Sutton Council and an online claim form can be completed and submitted via Sutton’s website: https://www.sutton.gov.uk/ info/ 200436/ customer_services/ 1146/ insurance_service/ 2

  • As per attached 7am Saturday 1 April a ‘temporary patch’ has been effected, but, note the large amount of, skid hazard, gravel in the nearside of the road, where cyclists travel, has not been swept and picked up; shovels and stiff brooms are widely available at hardware and DIY stores...please can the contractor CLEAR the site of potentially dangerous debris when they attend EVERY job they are paid to do.....
