  • This pot hole is getting worse. I know there were no council elections this time around so no pressure from Councilors worried about their seats but you have responsibility to maintain the roads and manage costs effectively. This pothole has been ignored for so long the road areas adjacent to it are starting to break up so the repair costs will escalate. That amounts to a failure by you to manage expenditure effectively.

  • I have just taken these pictures to show how bad it has been allowed to get. The original concrete base of the road is now starting to disintegrate. As you will see the pot hole has clearly not been marked for repair as no lines have been painted round it let alone the adjacent crumbling tarmac also shown.

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • I note your acknowledgment on the 7th May that you are trying to resolve this outstanding pot hole with your contractor but here we are a further two weeks on and it remains outstanding. Your efforts with your current contractor are still not working so Rhine to replace the contractor or the your administration team whichever is not doing their job properly.
