HMO waste not being removed

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 12:09, Thursday 16 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4320386.

26 Borkwood Park is an HMO with at least 5 tenants, possibly more. No bins have been provided at all by the landlord. Piles of rubbish are left outside the property, glass is being smashed and left for cars to drive over, food is being left for rats and foxes. This is a health hazard and will continue to get worse while no bins are provided and no waste is removed by the landlord. Please can the council contact the landlord and ask them to remove the waste and check on a regular basis that this has been done.

  • Litter is still being dumped outside 26 Borkwood Park and no bins have been provided by the landlord. Foxes are ripping the bags open and rubbish is everywhere. This is a health and safety risk and will encourage rats. Please ask the landlord to supply proper outside bins. It is unexceptable that other neighbours must clean up the mess from this household.

  • Thank you for your further comments. LBB will write to the landlord regarding containment of waste.
