Large pot in road, hit this last night approximately 745pm last night, Tuesday 14th March 2023. Dark and hit pot hole straight on, too late to be able to able to avoid. Damaged car, got to location but during drive an issue became apparent on steering on. Turning onto drive car became unsafe and not drivable. I had to get a lift to my home as car was damaged and not able to be driven. Phoned rac 9am 15th March 2023 and on callout suspension snapped and engineer stated very lucky to not to have lost control of vehicle from the incident to the site of the car being un drivable. Engineer out tomorrow for major repair. Cones were since put in place this morning to show pot hole and then by the afternoon it has been filled in.
