Multiple large potholes reopened in layby
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 15:26, Wednesday 15 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4317007.
Sorry to say that the recent resurfacing of a small section around the leaking manhole has failed. There are now multiple deep holes spread across the layby and around the manhole, the leaking water has lifted the recently repaired surface. These holes are dangerous as they are on the driving line and are bound to get bigger. Again I have to almost stop to safely drive over them.

This road is terrible, multiple big deep potholes all over that makes driving up and down very dangerous especially with passing traffic, it’s hit the the point that they are all over and the road is far worse of for all the repeated repair attempts.
This road needs to be resurfaced urgently as it’s one of our main roads out of biggin hill and damaging our cars and will lead to a serious accident.

I travelled on this road yesterday and the entire road surface near the layby on jewels hill is all broken up and needs resurfacing. There is also a large and deep pothole near the base of a tree on the downward slope in the direction of Biggin hill about a 100 feet from the layby.

What's so galling is that the road seems to be regularly closed without any prior yellow warning signs for TW to dig up the same spot by Highams Farm over and over again and the opportunity to do something major to road is lost, only a matter of time before a big accident happens due to the state of the road.

Further reporting that the large manhole cover now has no support around it at as all of the surface has finally been washed away. All of the years using this road this has to be the very worst I ever seen it
