10-12 inch pothole on Sevenoaks Way near the McDonald’s/Broomwood Road bus stop just before the lights on the McDonald’s side of the road.

Reported via mobile in the Road Defect category anonymously at 13:28, Wednesday 15 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4316434.

The pothole is inline with the central white lines making it very hard to spot. It is a deep, large pothole which caused our tyre to pop and deflate almost instantly, and cost us £160 worth of damage that we had to get repaired late at night as an emergency. This happened just before 7pm, on Tuesday 14th March 2023.

  • Report 4316434. My vehicle sustained a 'slow' puncture as a result of driving across this pothole. I heard a loud bag, and off-side front of vehicle, dropped, causing plastic wheel trim and holding ring, to be ejected forcefully, part of which flew up on to my windscreen. Within an hour or so, my 'tyre pressure' warning light illuminated, and on attempting to pump tyres up the next day ( the tyre/wheel in question had dropped from 33 psi, normal pressure, to below 20 ), when close to normal pressure ( 33 psi ), the location of the puncture was apparent. There was also a dent in the metal rim at this location.
