The perfect pothole

This pothole is in the east bound carriageway of the B3047 in Itchen Abbas. It is perfectly located to draw in the left wheel of your vehicle and is absolutely slap bang in perfect spot to be unavoidable. It’s very easy to hit and damege your vehicle due to its depth and shape. If you can just see that no vehicles are coming towards you you can cross the central white line and avoid it, but you’ve got to have your whits about you. In the dark, you have no chance of avoiding it. Spewing out some gravel and ballast it also fills up with water too. Fix it now rating 9/10.

  • The pothole I reported has been filled in, but only the centre of it. This has left two large holes either side if it! So there was one big pothole, now there are two more!
