Pot hole is huge and exposes manhole cover . I hit the pot hole and it caused a flat tyre to my vehicle It is dangerous and in middle of road

    I have just encountered this pothole and it has damaged my tyre. It will cost me £100 to replace and I look to the council to reimburse me for that.

  • Any request for compensation relating to an issue on a Bromley maintained highway must be processed via an insurance claim process. Bromley currently have a shared Insurance Service with Sutton Council and an online claim form can be completed and submitted via Sutton’s website: https://www.sutton.gov.uk/ info/ 200436/ customer_services/ 1146/ insurance_service/ 2

  • I have watched this hole get bigger and bigger every day for over 2 weeks. This is now a major hazard which could cause a fatal injury to a cyclist (motor or pedal) or serious damage to a car. This is now bordering on complete negligence by Bromley council given it is such a busy road. At least get some signage to warn road users!
