The problem will not be fixed by sweeping away the loose stones. The road surface is breaking up, the loose stones are flying up from the tyres of the numerous vehicles using the street as a cut through to miss the problems in Main Road. The stones fly around from the tyres, hitting people, animal etc. and landing in front gardens, some have hit our parked car on our driveway and many neighbours have experience similar issues. The road needs to be resurfaced as a matter of urgency as we fear that should there be an emergency, for example a child running into the road during school times, early morning or afternoon, a vehicle doing an emergency stop would merely tear up the stony surface and be unable to stop. This problem has not been fixed.
