Many potholes along this stretch, this is one of the worst

There are several large potholes on this stretch of road. The whole of the southbound section of the A343 between the A34 crossing and the 30 mph limit at Highclere is affected. The pothole by the turn-off to Foxs Lane is one of the worst examples. Here, as in several other places, a large area (about 1 sq metre) of the top layer of the road surface is completely missing. The road continues to deteriorate.
