Blocked drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 12:19, Fri 10 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4298207.

The drain directly outside 5 Holcot Lane NN6 0BE is blocked, apparently with silt. As there's been a recent thaw the water is not being drained away and as a consequence there is potential for the roundabout at the southern end of Holcot Lane to become flooded.

  • The attached picture is of a previous flood as a result of the drain in question being blocked. it also leads to the drain on the opposite of the road getting blocked which in the past has resulted in a major flood
