Permanent large puddle every time it rains

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4295741.

Afrer major work last year to remodel the Hayes St / Pickhurst Lane roundabout, this large puddle appears and does not drain away. Inconveniencing pedestrians with vehicle road spray every time a vehicle goes by.This puddle is also in the middle of the main pedestrian crossing point. This is unacceptable after the time and money spent on this remodelling work last year.

  • We apologises for lack of update regarding this enquiry. Our contractor is aware of the ponding at this location and are looking at options to alleviate the issue. Unfortunately we don't have a programme date for these works but we will continue to chase them and provide an update shortly.

  • Bromley Council are aware of the issues at this location. This road has already been included in the Council's schedule of major highway maintenance works programme. In the interim the condition of the highway will continue to receive regular safety inspections and any necessary work undertaken accordingly, specific issues in the road should be reported with location details as new reports via for investigation.
