Timbuktoo I think. They're very cheap from there you know. Bodge and Scarper more like.

Only one pothole was repaired that is next to a manhole cover! nothing has been done regarding the series of large potholes in the centre of the road around 15-20 metres long and nothing done about the roundabout potholes either

Do your contractors have a policy of "fix one hole, ignore the other five"? Time to change contractors, or stop paying them for incomplete work. Why is the council and the taxpayer continually being taken for a ride by these people? Answer, The council let them get away with it! Do the council inspectors actually have any terms of reference? It's up to the council to ensure better taxpayer value, and it is failing miserably. And council tax just increased, again!

Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. In any private business , this issue would remain open until properly resolved. If your contractors are not fulfilling their legal obligations, then as I (wrongly) thought you are obliged to protect your taxpayers, the contractors should be replaced.
