Edge of the road deeply depressed

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category by ROD BILLSON at 06:37, Tue 7 March 2023

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4288209.

The edge of the road is eroded by about 250mm vertically for a considerable length on the outside of the road bend. The erosion occurs by the flow of the floood water and heavy lorries coming off the edge of the road when it is flooded. I have suggested before please but heavy hardcore on these trenches to avoid it being swept away by the flood water. If a car wheel comes off the road an the engine sump will bottom on the road.
