  • 3 years to paint some white lines. No wonder the Council have such a bad reputation.

  • This was originally reported in February 2020. Is there any wonder that people think Councils are an utter waste of money? It's some lines that need painting yet here we are, over 4 years on and they STILL haven't been done.

Posted anonymously at 09:47, Thursday 28 March 2024

  • Seriously, do you want residents to stop paying Council tax and we'll just do jobs ourselves, because you clearly seem to be unable to do them. FOUR years to paint lines. The county is full of pot holes that are left for months. Can you explain what exactly you do with your time, because sorting out the roads clearly isn't on that list.

  • A wonderful demonstration of just how utterly inept you are. Painting the lines from the mini roundabout for about 15/20 yards. Painting the pedestrian/cycle crossings but failing to paint the solid white lines from the main roundabout for the A14/A43. Do you need someone to hold the hands of the people who go out to do work to ensure that they do the work in that area properly?
