Illegal Parking

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 19:36, Sun 26 January 2014

Sent to Adur District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 428437.

Cars are parked for long periods of time - usually overnight on Hatching Lines which are on the corner of the A259 and The Broadway. This causes obstruction of vision when waiting at the junction of The Broadway to join the A259. You cannot see oncoming traffic at all coming from the direction of Worthing. Police have been informed but they now say it is a matter for Highways.

  • No different - still cars parking overnight and/or long periods of time. Nothing from the highways department. Nobody seems interested - until there is a fatality.

  • The problem continues and illegally-parked vehicles (overnight) go unpunished. Who cares? Certainly not the law-enforcement officers!
