It has now been more than 6 weeks since the issue was reported first. Inaction on the part of the council and/or road contractor has meant that the situation has worsened drastically and its now a disaster waiting to happen, with the morning traffic on this crucial junction bound to increase as schools open up after the term break!

Terrible large potholes still not fixed, which are a severe hazard to traffic and in particular motorcyclists and cyclists who could come off and be killed. It is appalling that the Council is not treating this as an immediate requirement to be fixed by the end of today. The contractors are negligent and could be sued for millions of pounds if they do not get on to this job without further delay.

Reported 2 months ago and has not been fixed. May I suggest getting new contractors? Surrounding councils are doing a much better job at keeping road users safe.
