Seriously dangerous pothole

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4279637.

Unsurprisingly, another pothole has turned into a crater here. Its big enough for two road bollards and deep enough that the base of them cannot be seen when driving past. Who is responsible? Is there a vacancy in the local council for a highways dept specialist who knows how to resolve this? Currently, every repair is poor quality and reoccurs shortly afterwards. Good money for someone, but not good for the public.
