Streetlight during sleeping hours

Reported via mobile in the Light On All Day category anonymously at 07:40, Friday 3 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4278328.

Hi This street light shines directly into my bedroom of an evening and has been bothering for some time. Is there a way it can be dimmed slightly during sleeping hours (10pm-6am) or for a less polluting light be fitted.. I’ve noticed by the pond houses the light itself is less emitting to the residents. Either that or dimmed so it doesn’t cause such a brightness? Thanks

  • The issue is now worse if anything….the street light is even brighter and emitting a whiter light than before. Can you please reduce the brightness and/or change the bulbs of the 2 lamp post lights to match those where heath field/green lane meet. Thanks
