Large dangerous pothole

There's an extremely large dangerous pothole in the following coordinates 52.85910°N, 0.72383°W.

I was travelling along the road when I was sadly met by a string of cars travelling on the opposite side of the road so was unable to dodge the crater and subsequently punctured my tyre.

This pot hole is extremely deep and needs rectifying before it can cause more damage to others.

I would also like to place a claim for damage can you please advise how to proceed.
