Traffic lights out of sinc at rush hour causing chaos

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4269498.

The traffic lights at this roundabout are causing chaos at rush hour. When coming from titchfield park down segensworth road to the traffic lights you are lucky if one car gets through the lights. The next set of lights are red for a very long time which means that the traffic coming from the right blocks the whole road waiting for the light to go green and backing up all the other traffic. It takes about 15 minutes just to cross the roundabout? hope you can help

  • I have been going a different way to avoid the chaos at this roundabout but i used it this morning at 8.10am and it looks like the sequence of lights has changed slightly but still not enough to avoid problems on segensworth road queuing back. overall i would say slight improvement

  • Traffic is even worse now, the traffic lights are very out of sync and traffic at segensworth queued for about half an hour at rush hour!!
