Zebra crossing. Most cars do not stop

There is a pelican crossing here and I have stood by it many times with approaching cars having clear views of me and not stopping. My daughter 10 tr old daughter often tells me cars don't stop as well and recently she rang me on the way home to tell me that 4 cars had failed to stop whilst she had been waiting. I have lived in trealaw over 10 years and this crossing has always been of ored my a large number of drivers.
