Kissing gate across the path, where it leaves Footpath No. 17, wheras the definitive statement specifies a FIELD GATE at this location, as opposed to a kissing gate. A Kissing gate poses a greater degree of physical restriction than does a field gate; the kissing gate is therefore an obstruction. There is no apparent need for there to be any physical limitation, upon the public right of way, at this location - the land crossed by FP 18 is no longer grazed by animals.
