Southwood Country Park

Hi. We got stuck in a boggy area and trapped all around us, my two children and myself. Myself and my youngest fell into a puddle so deep it went up to my hips, and up to my child's shoulder. I managed to get them out safely but it scared us all as they could have drowned. My eldest fell into a deep puddle up to their hips too. That area needs to have warning signs or fenced off. Today could have been a different story. There needs to be safe areas to walk signs and unsafe areas. We didn't realise it was so boggy. Some places it's up to our ankles. We were going to turn back but forward always looked like solid ground but never was. It's so deceiving. We went over the footbridge that's near where there's works going on.
