Unlawful Parking High St/Devonshire Place, Runcorn
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 15:41, Tue 21 January 2014
Sent to Halton Borough Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 426151.
I wish to complain regarding the vehicles from Phoenix UPVC continually parking outside their premises at the above location. They park right on the corner near the junction obstructing the line of sight and making it difficult to negotiate the corner. They are on double yellow lines and also partially obstructing the footpath. This is a regular event despite there being a free car park to the rear of their premises. I understand they have been the subject of a previous complaint by the bus company. If Phoenix have been cautioned before then it has clearly not had the desired affect. I would add that the Town Centre parking has become something of a free for all since the withdrawal of the Traffic Wardens a few years ago.

I was told that the matter was being passed on to the local Police and that is the last I have heard, but I would say that the parking situation in Runcorn Town Centre is just a bad
