Decorators using drain for paint disposal

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Havant Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4260350.

North side of Penk Ridge road decorators using road drain to empty paint buckets constantly. Pollution to waterways and not sure what it is going down drain ie. spirit based paint etc.

  • Council contacted me but never called back to obtain photo evidence. They got away with it so is it ok to pollute the waterways, looks like it is !
