Big potholes - lots of them

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4257912.

Lots of big potholes in the road that are beginning to join up together over an area of about 2 - 3 mtrs. Its on a tight corner on a bus route so taking a lot of wear and tear.

  • Response received from Highways Team on 01/03/23: "28-day repair raised for small area of intervention depth pothole. Please note large area of surface layer breakout is non intervention depth so not considered a safety defect at this time."

  • 24/03/23 - Response received from WS Highways claiming to have repaired this - they haven't. They have filled one small hole in the middle of the large area of broken and potholed tarmac. The potholed area hazzard is on a sharp corner and will likely cause a motorbike to lose grip and crash if they hit the area when turning the corner.
