Potholes
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 12:32, Thu 23 February 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4257639.
Previously badly filled trench on Downe Road again needs holes in it filled. Just off roundabout, heading towards Shire Lane. Very boring and depressing continually reporting the same old problems because of previous inadequate fix.

Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

When!

Potholes - There are numerous potholes that are around the roundabout adjoining Downe Road and Westerham Road. They have been there for months and months and are getting bigger and deeper. It is difficult for vehicles to go navigate around the roundabout without hitting a pothole.

You are providing no service whatsoever, Bromley Council. This is dangerous and has been outstanding for months! Suggest you get off your collective a***s and fix it or GET CONTRACTORS WHO ACTUALLY DO THE JOB. This goes for all the other very long and dangerous outstanding potholes in the area, some of which you have marked out in paint, but heaven forbid you actually bloody fix them!

The order for this repair has been raised with the Council's contractor and remains outstanding within their planned schedule of works.

And still we wait, together with all the other LONG outstanding and dangerous potholes which REMAIN OUTSTANDING<>>>>>>>months after reporting. Just look at some of the report dates on FMS, Bromley Council, and tell me you don't have a major problem with your contractors which you seem unwilling or unable to address on behalf of those who pay you, the ratepayers!

Any update on a date as to when these will be fixed??This was originally reported (on this report) in February, we are now midway through August. It is impossible to miss the holes on this junction in any direction, and therefore is dangerous as drivers are trying to avoid them and not paying attention to roundabout traffic

We know that. Pity it wasn't all fixed at the same time when you had men and machinery on site. Another waste of taxpayers money having the contractors back YET AGAIN! Original report FEBRUARY!!

I wish someone would take enforcement action against the council who twiddle their thumbs while our roads fall apart! Not fit for purpose!! Hang your heads in shame.
