Falling branches
Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 06:47, Wed 22 February 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4253510.
I was taking my grand daughter to school when a branch from a tree, outside 43 George Lane, fell on her! It was pretty big and very dangerous. Thank god I was there. This is a school road, this tree is obviously dangerous and could really hurt someone!

The tree is still very much still there, with branches off daily. If your contractors have visited the site, they will see left overs from the huge broken branch. The tree looks old and as though it may cause another accident. There must come a time where safety overtakes nature. It is a school street after all, this about the children potentially getting hurt.

You have taken action on the wrong tree. Whilst collecting my child I noticed the tree after has gone, but the tree that hit my child is outside 43 not 47 where the tree has been removed

The tree at house 49 was correctly removed as required and that is unrelated to your enquiry. Our contractors removed a few of the branches from the tree at house 43 --that is the only works required at this time.
