Over grown vegetation growing into my house and covering the footpath

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 16:46, Tue 21 February 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4252598.

There is vegetarian that is stopping pedestrians from walking through this path. The vegetarian is almost hanging into my property as well. I’ve reported this previous ( reference 3842199). I was told this isn’t council property and you’ve sent a letter to the owner telling them to cut it back. This hasn’t been done and it’s months after the 28 days you gave them. I don’t think that these trees / vegetation does belong to anyone as it’s clearly on a footpath. Please assist the residents that live on Johnson Avenue in fixing this as I don’t have the equipment to do it myself.

  • Good morning,

Unfortunately the vegetation that is blocking the footpath on Johnson Avenue HAS NOT been cut back and is after the 28 days given to recipient of your letter. Can you please refer this to your regulations department as mentioned in your below email, as this issue is still unresolved and is getting worse as the owner delays cutting it back.

Thank you for all your help so far in fixing the issue. Can you please keep me updated with any progression. I will also kindly request that you please keep my details anonymous with any correspondence you have with the owner of the vegetation.
