  • I can see some of the areas have been marked for repair but as you can see from the photos there are numerous cracks (that seem to almost appear daily) that have not been marked. The entire area needs re tarmacking.

  • The cracks shown do not meet our investigatory levels for repair and are not considered a safety issue.

  • My daughter tripped again outside the house at the weekend and needed butterfly stitches. The whole area is a hazard and needs more attention than just simply patching a few holes. Patching has been done before and the issue reoccurs. The entire area outside Maywood needs addressing.

  • An order for the marked areas has been raised the other cracks do not meet our investigatory levels for repair.

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • No the issue has not been resolved, some holes have been filled but as I keep saying there are so many cracks that new holes keep appearing (see attached photos taken after todays works). Patching clearly doesn’t work the whole section needs addressing.

Could we please have an inspector from Bromley council come to visit the area and speak to us at the house.

    Thank you.

  • All issues of immediate concern/ Investigatory levels have been addressed and the road will be monitored as part of the scheduled inspections and any ad-hoc reports from the public.

  • How do those last three photos qualify as being addressed ?

Is there someone I can speak to to escalate this matter please.

Posted anonymously at 15:13, Wednesday 10 May 2023

  • As well as the multiple cracks this area has now also deteriorated. As reported before, patching small areas creates more problems, the whole section outside Maywood / Tall Timbers needs to be addressed.
