Cracks in pavement have turned into pots holes that are a trip hazard and hazard to pushchairs and wheelchairs. Kids have tripped and fallen over and the pothole and cracks are only getting worse. Issue has been there for some time but severity is now become an immediate issue and pavement needs tarmacking. Exact location is at entrance to Maywood and Tall Trees.

My daughter tripped again outside the house at the weekend and needed butterfly stitches. The whole area is a hazard and needs more attention than just simply patching a few holes. Patching has been done before and the issue reoccurs. The entire area outside Maywood needs addressing.

Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

Thanks for the update, hopefully these pavements are improved soon as the general condition is very poor and new cracks seem to appear almost daily.

No the issue has not been resolved, some holes have been filled but as I keep saying there are so many cracks that new holes keep appearing (see attached photos taken after todays works). Patching clearly doesn’t work the whole section needs addressing.
Could we please have an inspector from Bromley council come to visit the area and speak to us at the house.

How do those last three photos qualify as being addressed ?
Is there someone I can speak to to escalate this matter please.

As well as the multiple cracks this area has now also deteriorated. As reported before, patching small areas creates more problems, the whole section outside Maywood / Tall Timbers needs to be addressed.
