Resident called back he knows it is only a few days since he reported this tree but it is 10ft in height and his wife is very concerned it is going to come down onto their property. It has already damaged some of the tiles.

Nothing has been resolved and the contractors have not attended. Please can this be looked into as a matter of urgency as they are looking like they could damage the property especially with the wind and the weight of the ivy on one of the trees.

Thank you for your comments, pollarding is used with the training of young trees, given that the sycamore have grown up in a woodland setting with crown break considerably higher, unfortunately it is not viable. The contractor has been instructed to return to site, to prune the trees by cutting back to boundary and removing all dead/damaged branches.
