Divert road sign

Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 13:30, Sun 5 February 2023

Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4205035.

This sign has been lying face down for the past few weeks, along with its sand bags. It was clearly placed for a purpose many weeks ago, but obviously it has been forgotton. It is situated at the junction of Avondale road and corporation road in Grangetown Cardoiff.

  • WOW! The very NEXT DAY of reporting this- the council come out and put ANOTHER road sign up "LEAVING" THE OTHER ONE RIGHT NEXT TO IT ON THE FLOOR"?!!! They cant be bothered to pick up and remove the old sign which has been there on the floor!

  • ARE THESE GUYS FOR REAL? Yet AGAIN they come out a few days later- This time to Take away the SECOND sign , and "STILL LEAVE THE ORIGINAL ONE LYING ON THE FLOOR"?????????? This is the Perfect example as to how we are being treated by complete Idiots in the Council....

  • Is there an Issue with the Sand Bags you keep leaving? Maybe its all part of the Flood defence system? You finally removed the metal sign from the floor- after putting another one "in front of it" leaving the old one on the floor! Then you remove the 2 signs, and leave a sand bag on the floor? We just cant get our heads around the mentality of the guys who continue to do this.....

  • Sand Bag has been left for over 2 months now, only a matter of time before someone trips over it and puts a claim in.....
