The tarmac around the manhole cover is breaking up. There is a large hole at one corner. The concern is the cover could collapse if a repair is not imminent.

I reported this pothole on the edge of a manhole cover on 5th February. This was acknowledged but 2 monnths later it has not even been white marked let alone fixed. The manhole cover is in danger of being damaged with the consequence of a far more expensive remedy

This hole in Jubilee Road Chelsfield (BR67QU) was first reported on 5th February 2023. The hole is much larger and in fact several inches deep. It needs immediate attention. It has been outlined but that has almost worn away. This hole presents a very dangerous hazard for a cyclist. Furthermore the manhole is in danger of collapse.

I first reported this pothole on the edge of a manhole cover 119 day ago. I have since posted updates on this site and indeed phoned LBB about it several times. As detailed in my last update the white outline markings have now worn away. This pothole is dangerous to cyclists, pedestrians (there is no pavement) and horses from the nearby stables.
