Enfield council and waste services, street cleaning and head of place.

For five years I have cleaned Hoppers road as it is filthy. The council refuse to sweep this busy road - more so since the LTNs. JJ roofing produce most of the waste. The council have told them to litter as they please and allow their customers to do this on our road. Yet the council won’t clean it. The men at the store mock me and laugh at my cleaning. The council claim there is no litter and allege spot checks - when they inform the store they are coming. The alleged check has only been done once. My car is filthy from all of their waste - including bottles of urine - that I collect each day. The disregard from the council palpable. From the waste of JJ roofing I have cut my hands twice and had urine spilt all over me. It needs an investigation into council procedures and professionalism by an external body. JJ roofing should not be given a lease on a residential road. Bury street - Labour voting - is swept every day immaculately. This deliberate disparity is also explicit discrimination.
