Pot holes, tree roots and dangerous parking bay.
Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 17:58, Thu 2 February 2023
Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4197806.
Several pot holes along the length of Fordingbridge Close. The work that was done last year to fill "some" of them was poorly executed so they are as bad as if they hadn't bothered. There are also hazards where large tree roots are pushing up the road surface. Horsham Council have created a parking bay on the bend in the road which is a major hazard as it causes vehicles to have drive on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend. Ridiculous and probably allowed as it's a revenue earner for HDC.

Some pot holes have been filled but not the worse ones.

Most of the roads in Horsham are now just a series of holes stung together by a bit of tarmac. They're in a disgusting state.

It would seem that HDC are not in the slightest concerned that the disgusting state of our roads is risking people's lives.

The council can take week renewing a set of pedestrian crossing lights, despite there being nothing actually wrong with the existing ones but can't fix potholes, so of which are downright dangerous.
