2 x Commercial Low-loaders parked constantly on residential street

Reported via desktop in the Roads/Highways category anonymously at 15:30, Thursday 2 February 2023

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4197149.

Recently moved-in tenant to #11A or #11B Rubens Street, SE6. Has brought with them two commercial, 3,5 tonne low-loaders, been here for at least 3-4 months, if not more.

Consistently parked outside on the residential street, taking up at least six (sometimes eight) car parking spaces in an area which has limited parking. Has effectively blocked off the lower part of the road.

Also, both low-loaders, whether parked on Rubens Street or Cameron Road are leaking diesel constantly, as evidenced by all the stains on the road.

Please do something, it is not a commercial business road, it is residential. If they want to run a business from the rented flat, please go to an area where it is acceptable.

  • The past few days has also seen the person associated with the low-loaders carry out mechanical work on a private car and use another private car to charge a battery or vice versa on one of the other low-loaders.
