The Road is getting worse, a ledge is now right across the lane and a deep pot hole in the middle. Cause by the water leak that has been reported several times, yet it still is running down the Lane and across the road in several places. When freezing weather this water is freezing and now causing the road to break up. With Westerham Hill Closing during March it would be most helpful not to have Berrys Hill Shat at the same time.

Although the pot hole was filled after the 5th February 2023, it is now back worse and there is a second pit hole close by. Please stop the water running, its dangerous when the weather freezes it changing the water to ice in various places down the hill, its causing pot and pit hole. Costing the Council money each time they attend.

I see you are proposing to attend to Berrys Hill at the Jail Lane end. Although Thames Water have been and done some work. THE WATER STILL RUNS down the hill from the left side as you are going down the hill, coming from the bank area. NOT on the right side which is where Thames Water did some work. Fixing the road while the water is still running in winter will not solve the problem for long. The cold/icy weather will get under the new tarmac and things will be back to where they are now. STOP THE WATER RUNNING, COME AND HAVE A LOOK.
