Street Bollard to prevent vehicles driving along the pavement has been completely destroyed

Reported via desktop in the Street Furniture category anonymously at 12:23, Tue 31 January 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4189101.

Early in the morning on 29 January a vehicle has been in collision with the street bollard located at the side entrance of the Kings Head Pub to protect people exiting the pub from vehicles driving along the pavement. The Bollard has been sheared off at pavement level and whoever did it removed the broken bollard as it is now missing. Vehicles driving along the pavements in Captains Row is common place because it is a narrow road and is extremely dangerous for pedestrians and people exiting their front doors especially at this end of the street. Please get this bollard replaced asap before there is a serious accident, as it is noticeable that more vehicles are driving on the pavement since it was broken
