Many bollards need replacing

Reported via Android in the Park Repairs category by Ralph Ambrose at 14:24, Monday 30 January 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

As previously reported, many bollards around the perimeter of Hoblingwell Wood Recreation Ground need to be replaced. On Saturday two were found knocked over alongside the driveway to the carpark; today it is four. There are still a number missing along Chipperfield Road and many more are very loose or rotten. The missing bollards, along with the condition of many of the remaining bollards, and the often slow response in making repairs, exacerbates ongoing issues relating to antisocial behaviour. Please could a full survey be conducted and necessary replacements installed as soon as possible? Many thanks.

  • Tracks through the gap where one of these bollards is missing show that a vehicle went through there. This happened between 16:30 yesterday afternoon and 08:20 this morning. Please see attached image showing some of the new damage to the sports playing field.
