  • You are referred to our previous response. LBB is already aware of the potholes where indicated and works have been raised to address them. LBB is working hard with its Minor Works contractor to repair the great many potholes that have been reported across the entire borough and aims to repair them as soon as possible. LBB thanks you for you patience in the meantime.

  • Have a read of this and soak up the irony of it all.

Taken from a July 2018 press release when LBB awarded Riney the £70m Bromley highways deal…

“Securing both major and minor works is testament to the quality and expertise of the Riney team and builds on our track record as a trusted London borough partner. We’re looking forward to working with colleagues at Bromley to support the Borough, further improve its highways asset and deliver excellence for all local road users.”

‘Delivering excellence for all road users’? Don’t make me laugh. ‘The quality and expertise of the Riney team’? Surely a wind-up?

In the meantime, WHEN will the holes be repaired. Reported 87 days ago.

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • How is 87 days on no fix acceptable?

Posted anonymously at 10:33, Wednesday 26 April 2023

  • When will this be repaired? A ridiculous 112 days old and still nothing done to repair.
