Badly repaired pothole

Reported via mobile in the Road Defect category anonymously at 20:14, Saturday 28 January 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4180635.

Potholes were recently repaired near 93/95 Petts Wood Road. Unfortunately, one hole is as bad as ever. Very poor repair work and heavy vehicles are making a shuddering sound as they drive over it. Dreadful potholes along this road from Chislehurst Road to Crossway. They are dangerous and should be fixed ASAP.

  • The potholes along Petts Wood Road remain dangerous. Several people have reported them and although a few were repaired they were not repaired well enough and the problem remains. Cars are weaving about to avoid them and there will be an accident shortly if nothing is done.

  • Potholes along Petts Wood Road are still there causing cars to swerve trying to avoid them. Some have been repaired but sadly not all. A few have been repaired badly and these have now reopened. The road is a disgrace and Bromley Council should take immediate action. This is a main road with heavy traffic each day. Many cyclists use this road and these potholes are extremely dangerous.

  • The potholes outside 93/95 Petts Wood Road have not been repaired. These potholes have been reported several times but Bromley just leaves them. Cars are swerving and big lorries cause a thud once they are hit, resulting in sleepless nights!! Not good enough. The Council should take immediate action.

  • The potholes along Petts Wood Road still require repair work. I have reported the matter to our local Councillor as this work has been outstanding for months. There are three very big holes outside numbers 89, 93 and 95. Cars have been seen swerving to avoid them and this has also been reported to Bromley yet no work has been undertaken to fix the problem.
