Whole mile of potholes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 16:17, Thu 26 January 2023

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4173975.

1 mile of road from the B6047 to Ashlands is subsiding and there are multiple deep/wide potholes along the entire stretch - the road is impossible to drive down without dangerously swerving from side to side. The road has been in this state for more than 1 YEAR and is dangerous to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

Updates

  • Dispite the council closing the road for 2 days at a cost of at least £7000 - the road remains in a terrible state. The council has even left/fly tipped tarmac at the side of the road - but left areas untouched
