No lighting

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 11:39, Thursday 26 January 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later

Reported to Hampshire Highways that there was no lighting at this major junction and no pedestrian crossing lighting in October 2022. Since the report lighting has been installed but there's one major problem the lights have not been switched on. So 3 months since this report and 8 months since the road was opened and 3 pedestrian crossing points and over eight lanes at this junction are in complete darkness plus turning north into Peak Lane you have to guess where the road is due to the fact that the keep left sign is not lit and is not immediately picked up by your cars headlights.

  • Of the 20 odd street lamps at this interchange two are now lit at night. Lighting for the pedestrian crossing points remains unlit
