Redundant traffic light causing queues

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later

Traffic approaching Whiteley or M27 Eastbound gets held up by this traffic light for long periods, with very few vehicles needing right of way. The only vehicles that need right of way are those from Whiteley heading to the M27 westbound, or from the M27 east towards Whiteley and standard roundabout rules would be sufficient. There is no need for there ever to be a red traffic light holding up the A27 northbound
