Traffic light timing
Reported via mobile in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 22:46, Sun 22 January 2023
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4160049.
Traffic lights are not red for long enough. Numerous times cars are driving behind a pedestrian, driving through flashing amber lights. Today someone actually tried to go around a person crossing the road rather than wait till they were in the path.

For elderly people the time between the Green man appearing and then the amber lights flashing is too short. This morning was another example of cars driving round a person still in the road because the amber lights are flashing. Accident waiting to happen.

Any update?
Traffic Lights down the village (near Greggs) are set for a lot longer and also go from Red to Red/Amber no cars move until Green
These ones (by fishing shops) go Red to Amber and cars shoot through regardless if people are still on the road.
