Dogs Fouling

Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 15:45, Sun 25 January 2009

Sent to North Kesteven District Council 5 minutes later

Oublic Footpath and Land to which public have access. Used by hundreds of people each week. Public Footpath used by schoolchildren. Serious dog fouling problem. Dog bins provided. May need action under Dogs Fouling of Land Act 1996 to designate the land - but notices would help.

Updates

  • No response at all from the District Coucil, as far as I am aware. The Parish Council employ a dog warden 8 hours per week. If he has been patroling I have not seen him and there has been no lessening of the problem.

  • I have now found evidence of a public meeting in 2002 regarding the dog fouling. There seems to be genuine concern unless you are a Council member!!
