Numerous potholes,poor previous repairs

The drainage has been continuously blocked for several years from Higher house farm to New Hoyles Farm There are drainage problems from the Top of Hawkshaw lane to the Melrose junction . Bury council have been notified several times and done nothing Now numerous potholes of at least 100 mm deep and at least 450-600 mm + in size.

  • Potholes filled in by Bury Council 24/25 January2023. Original repairs carried out, make the lane like a rough,awkward angled speed bumps not levelled out

  • The lane is rapidly failing again and the repairs that have been done are abysmal. You have drive over,passed,through them at less than 5mph

  • It gets worse everyday and the repairs they tried to do from Melrose to Holcombe Hey Farm have all failed and deteriorated and are in a worse condition than before the attempted repairs.
