Bottom of Loney Street

There used to be a grit bin at the bottom of Loney Street which at some stage has been removed and not replaced. I feel that due to the incline of the road it would be sensible to re-instate a grit bin. During the recent cold weather several cars have slid back down the hill and I feel that it is only a matter of time until an accident occurs. In years gone by when the grit bin was there obviuously motorists could apply a little rock salt and this resolved the issue. I also feel that good access is essential due to the care home at the bottom of Loney Steet which ambulances often have to attend.
